Frequently Asked Questions

I do my very best to always find your unwanted/unused belongings a new home or purpose. When items are needing to be disposed of, I will always recycle where possible. I can work with you to sell your unwanted/unused items to generate profits to put to good use. I work with various local charities where pre-loved items are donated and will be greatly appreciated.

I have both Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance. I am DBS checked and I am registered with a Professional Regulatory Body.

Not in the slightest. You have already taken the first step in your journey just considering this and contacting me. This is scary and can be overwhelming, but rest assured you’re not alone. I can guarantee I have seen it before and despite this being my profession, it’s actually somewhat of a hobby too!

Orderly offers discounted packages, however if these are not affordable right now, an hourly rate is also offered. You can opt to book a one hour session as and when you are able to afford this. Did you know your local council may also be able to offer funding support? If this is something of interest, I can guide you through this during the initial consultation process.

Firstly a conversation is needed with your loved one to inform them of your concerns and why you feel they need support. Secondly, do encourage them to engage in the free, no obligation consultation. Nothing lost but potentially a lot gained. The first step is hard and even if support is not taken up now, it can always be a consideration for the future when they are ready to commit to change. I offer virtual support too, which is also for family members and anyone affected.

No. The purpose of the support is to work together to ensure you are ready and comfortable with changes. We will keep this in mind throughout, with reminders of goals that have been set. I will never make you part with anything, this is your journey and your destination.

This depends on the type of support your require. If you need your wardrobe organising…absolutely! If you need your workspace tidying…definitely! I am able to work off a brief and can often do the initial and difficult parts of sorting, separating and sectioning. Some cases such as homes that may be hoarded, do require 1:1 support as this is a hugely important factor.

With empathy, sensitivity, lots of training and experience. I have worked with many individuals with neuro diverse needs, those suffering loss, trauma and/or major life changes. Most importantly I will get to know you and your goals.

Each person is completely different and from the initial consultation we will put together desired goals and outcomes. We will discuss likely timescales, depending on how frequently and how long each session will take. This can be amended, however we will try to adhere to this and tackle the matters most important to you first.

Orderly offers an array of support including practical skills, emotional support, coaching and counselling. At Orderly we strive to support you and your networks to achieve desired goals. Orderly is proud to be open, empathetic, sensitive and supportive. With a whole host of qualifications, training and experience it is hoped we can support you to be the best version of yourself!
